A division of the Camden Park catalogues that is not clearly defined. In broad terms it includes all plants with woody stems except conifers and fruit trees and shrubs.

Fully-hardy, rounded, thorny, deciduous tree with 3-5-lobed glossy leaves and corymbs of up to 10 white to pink flowers in late spring, followed by round red fruit. To 8m. [RHSE, Hortus, Hilliers’].
Crataegus monogyna Jacq. var. plena

Cryptocarya species unidentified
Cryptocarya is a genus of some 250 species of trees or shrubs from the tropics or sub-tropics. 15 species are recognised in NSW, including Cryptocarya bidwillii Meissn. This was not described until 1864, the type plant originating from Wide Bay, now in Queensland, suggesting that Bidwill found it there after he was appointed Commissioner in 1849.

Frost tender, spreading, freely-branching, soft-stemmed shrub, often grown as an annual, with lance-shaped leaves and slender, deep red flowers, 2-3cm long, with a dark red band, white rim and 2 tiny black-purple petals, borne singly from the upper leaf axils from spring to autumn. Frost tender, branched sub-shrub with crowded lance-shaped leaves, to 12cm long, and leafy racemes bearing scarlet, white and red flowers, yellowish at the apex, with minute petals in summer. To 90cm. [RHSD, Hortus].

Frost tender shrub or small tree with entire or toothed, segmented leaves, to 15cm, and panicles of white flowers. [RHSD].
Cyclopia genistoides Vent.
Frost-tender, evergreen, broom-like shrub with trifoliate leaves and axillary yellow flowers. To 2.5m. [RHSD].
Cydonia oblonga Mill.
