History at Camden Park
Listed in the 1850 and 1857 catalogues [T.498/1850]. Kyle’s 'Triumphans' and Smith's ‘Dalstonii’ were also offered in the Gardener’s Chronicle advertisement. All three fuchsias first appear in the 1850 catalogue and it seems likely that they were introduced at the same time, possibly in response to this advertisement.
