Notice

Colin Mills, compiler of the Hortus Camdenensis, died in late November 2012 after a short illness. As he always considered the Hortus his legacy, it is his family's intention to keep the site running in perpetuity. It will not, however, be updated in the near future.

Carmichaelia tereta unidentified

An unidentified species but probably a form of Carmichaelia australis R.Br. with rounded stems of circular section rather than flattened.

Listed in all published catalogues except 1845 (but see Carmichaelia teres) [T.283/1843].  Probably grown by material collected in New Zealand by John Bidwill.
