History at Camden Park
The only reference to this plant I have found is its inclusion in a list of plants sent to the nurseryman Thomas Shepherd of Adelaide on the 19th of July, 1844. [MP A2933-1, p.47]. It was almost certainly growing in the gardens at this time.
