Colin Mills, compiler of the Hortus Camdenensis, died in late November 2012 after a short illness. As he always considered the Hortus his legacy, it is his family's intention to keep the site running in perpetuity. It will not, however, be updated in the near future.

Buddleja salvifolia Lam.

Frost hardy. arching, semi-evergreen shrub with sage-like leaves and panicles, to 15cm long, of fragrant, pale lilac-blue flowers in autumn and winter.  To 3m.  [RHSE, Hortus, Hilliers’].

Figured are opposite ovate-lanceolate leaves, whitish beneath and panicles of bluish flowers.  Jacquin Sch. pl.28, 1797-04.
