Colin Mills, compiler of the Hortus Camdenensis, died in late November 2012 after a short illness. As he always considered the Hortus his legacy, it is his family's intention to keep the site running in perpetuity. It will not, however, be updated in the near future.

Veronica grandis Fisch. ex Spreng.

Fully hardy herbaceous perennial with erect, hairy stems, opposite, lance-shaped, deeply toothed leaves, to 7.5cm long, and long spikes of white flowers.  To 60cm.  [RHSD, Hortus].

First listed in a handwritten note in an 1850 catalogue held in the Mitchell Library collection.  [MP A2947a].  It did not appear in the 1857 catalogue.
