Colin Mills, compiler of the Hortus Camdenensis, died in late November 2012 after a short illness. As he always considered the Hortus his legacy, it is his family's intention to keep the site running in perpetuity. It will not, however, be updated in the near future.

Campanula stricta L.

Rigid woody-based perennial with oblong leaves and a spike of sessile, tubular blue flowers.  To 50cm.  [RHSD].

Campanula stricta Sibth. & Sm. (1806) = Campanula lyrata Lam., from the Caucasus.

Campanula stricta Wall. (1820) = Campanula sylvatica Wall., from India.
