Scilla autumnalis L.
Bulbous perennial, the leaves narrow, grooved above, appearing after the flowers and persisting throughout winter, flowers nodding, reddish-purple, in autumn. To 15cm. [RHSD, Hortus].

‘We suspect our present variety to be of continental extraction, although the species is a native of our islands; growing in several of the western districts, and has even been found in the neighbourhood of London.’ [BM t.919/1806].
History at Camden Park
Certainly grown at Camden Park as bulbs of Scilla autumnalis were sent to Mrs. Glennie in April 1845. Possibly the Scilla species pink listed in the catalogues, which see.
