Fuchsia ‘Don Giovanni’

‘Dark variety; shown at the Vauxhall Gardens show.  [Gard. Chron. 1851].  ‘Flowers very large, tube and sepals crimson, corolla purple-violet.  A noble variety.’ Seen growing at Kew.  [FC p.225/1852].
