Colin Mills, compiler of the Hortus Camdenensis, died in late November 2012 after a short illness. As he always considered the Hortus his legacy, it is his family's intention to keep the site running in perpetuity. It will not, however, be updated in the near future.


A family of some 156 genera and 2500 species of annual or perennial herbs, shrubs and trees from around the world.  A number of species are of some economic importance.  [FNSW].  Represented in the Hortus by a number of ornamental species and several trees.
