Lophospermum ‘Hendersonii’

Unidentified species or variety but possibly a form of Maurandya barclaiana Lindl. which see.  There are many colour forms of this plant.  

Horticultural & Botanical History

Probably named for Henderson of Henderson’s Nursery, Pine-apple Place, and originating in this nursery but I have found no references to this plant.

History at Camden Park

Seed order to Hurst and McMullen, Seedsmen and Florists of London, on 8th April 1846.  [MP A2933-1, p.132].
