Colin Mills, compiler of the Hortus Camdenensis, died in late November 2012 after a short illness. As he always considered the Hortus his legacy, it is his family's intention to keep the site running in perpetuity. It will not, however, be updated in the near future.

History at Camden Park

‘Lady Fletcher’ is probably one of the ‘about 20 others’ referred to in reference to Dahlia Dodds’ ‘Mary’, which see.  It was listed in a letter to Mrs. J. C. Wickham dated 16th August1844, and included in a consignment of plants which accompanied the letter.  [MP A2933-2, p.6].
