Notice

Colin Mills, compiler of the Hortus Camdenensis, died in late November 2012 after a short illness. As he always considered the Hortus his legacy, it is his family's intention to keep the site running in perpetuity. It will not, however, be updated in the near future.

Cunoniaceae

A family of some 26 genera and 250 species of shrubs or trees, rarely climbers, from tropical and temperate regions of the Southern Hemisphere.  One species, Coachwood, is of some economic importance for its timber.  [FNSW].  Represented in the Hortus by a single unidentified, but probably Australian, species.
