Capparaceae

A family of some 45 genera and 700 species of herbs, shrubs, climbers and trees from tropical and sub-tropical regions.  1 species, the Caper Bush, is of some economic importance.  [FNSW].  Represented in the Hortus by 3 ornamental species, and 2 species used to produce Capers and Caper Berries which were probably grown for this purpose.
